Julia Ann Roblee Watson, 51, of Springdale died April 9, 2013. She was born Nov. 17, 1961, at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn., to William and Margaret Hart Roblee. Julie graduated from Springdale High School in 1980, then attended the University of Arkansas where she earned a bachelor of science degree in industrial engineering, followed by an MBA and completion of coursework for a Ph.D. She began her career at Jones Truck Lines and assisted Bernice Jones during the development of the Jones Center for Families and Harbor Meadows. Julie went on to work at the University of Arkansas for 16 years, working in various roles in the Business College and the College of Industrial Engineering. Julie was a 40-year member of St. Raphael Catholic Church, where she enjoyed helping in the gift shop and teaching Sunday school. She was a member of Zeta Tau Alpha sorority, Beta Sigma Phi, served on the Shiloh Museum Board and several PTAs in the Springdale School System, and was a charter and life member of the Junior Auxiliary. She was an avid community volunteer and found great pleasure in helping others. She also enjoyed her pets, crafts, sewing, reading, movies and outdoor sports, especially spending time at the lake with her family. Julie was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend to many. She will always be remembered for her smile, thoughtfulness, ability to make others feel special and her kind, tender heart. She is survived by her loving husband of 27 years, Jeff Watson; and her children, Stan and Claire Watson of the home; parents, Bill and Marge Roblee of Bella Vista; siblings, Jeff Roblee and wife, Vicki, of Keene, N.H., Debbie Campbell of Little Rock, Rick Roblee and wife, Julie, of Fayetteville, Joe Roblee and wife, Lee Ann, of Cedar Park, Texas, Todd Roblee and wife, Janeane, of Fayetteville; mother-in-law, Betty Thomas of Springdale; brother-in-law, Tom Watson and wife, Terry, of Thornton, Colo.; sister-in-law, Mary Jane Ragsdale of Sulfur, La.; and numerous nieces and nephews who will miss her greatly. Visitation will be on Sunday, April 14 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Sisco Funeral Chapel, followed by a rosary at 4 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Raphael Catholic Church in Springdale on Monday, April 15, at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Ozark Guidance Foundation in honor of Julie Watson to support mental wellness, 2400 S. 48th St., Springdale, AR 72762; or St. Raphael Catholic Church, 1386 S.
