John Bosley entered his eternal home Tuesday, April 9, 2013, in Springdale, Ark. John lived a full life. He wore many hats during his journey here on Earth. John loved to laugh, joke and could be counted on when someone needed a helping hand. Family meant everything to John. He was very involved with his family no matter how busy he was. John had been a fisherman, professional truck driver, limo driver and was recently, up until his illness, driving The George Brothers Band from Eureka Springs, Ark., all over Arkansas, Oklahoma and Texas on their Brothers, Outlaws & Friends Red Dirt Country tour. John loved traveling with the band to their many concert venues and he loved all the members of the band very much. He was an avid fan of Classic Country, Modern Country music and Red Dirt Country music. Big John, as he was fondly called by the band, enjoyed many memories of their travels and venues. Big John, while out on the road, roomed with Dawayne "Pony Tail" George of the band, and they had many, many great memories and laughs while on the road. John also loved taking his good friend Richard Coger and his friend Paula to trade shows in Las Vegas every year. John's wife, Rose, also went with them and enjoyed the sights and sounds of Las Vegas up until the time of her death. John loved his children with all his heart. Christmas was always a big event for John and Rose. And when grandchildren came into the picture, Christmas got even bigger and better. John was always full of life, laughter and hope. He would always find a positive in anything. When John became ill, he wanted to be out on the road again with his Brothers, Outlaws & Friends, The George Brothers Band. Big John will be missed and his shoes left imprints that no one can fill. Big John may have been a small man by the virtue of his physical size, but he was a giant among men. You will be missed more as each day passes and We Love You, Dad. Survivors include three sons, Bill Dale Beaman of Cabot, Donald Stratton Jr. of Avoca and John M. Bosley Jr. of Coburg, Ore.; one daughter, Marina Lynn Goheen of Rogers; one sister, Linda Huzl of Westminster, Colo.; 13 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be Saturday, April 13, 2013, at 2 p.m. at Wilson Cemetery. Visitation will precede the service from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale.
