George Wilbur Orcutt

George Wilbur Orcutt, 90, of Bella Vista, Ark., died April 7, 2013, at the Concordia Health and Rebab in Bella Vista, Ark. He was born on March 23, 1923, in Ohio to Wilbur and Mary Garford Orcutt. He was raised and educated in Ohio. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. George married Blanche Ledin in July 1943 in Norfolk, Va. After his discharge from the Navy, he was employed as a warehouse manager for Lerner's Women's Wear. He retired in 1985, and they moved to Bella Vista, Ark., in 1994. George was an avid gardener. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Edward; and grandson, Michael Orcutt. He is survived by his wife, Blanche Orcutt of Bella Vista, Ark.; one son, Allen Orcutt (Regine) of Crystal Lake, Ill.; daughter, Karen Adamitis (Robert) of Oak Lawn, Ill.; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. A rosary will be at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of the Resurrection at 10 a.m. on Friday, April 12, 2013, at St. Bernard Catholic Church.
