John David Ragsdale

John David Ragsdale, age 47, of Bentonville died April 8, 2013, at Circle of Life Hospice at Legacy Village in Bentonville. He was born in Pryor, Okla., on May 31, 1965. He was a systems analyst for Walmart ISD for over 18 years and a member of the Bentonville Freewill Baptist Church. More importantly, he was a loving husband, father and son, as well as a faithful servant to the Lord. Leading all in the name of the Father through his words, actions and being the supportive role model for his children and everyone he came in contact with. Survivors include his wife, Tammy Ragsdale of the home; parents, Darrell and Billie (Hudson) Ragsdale of Pryor, Okla.; sons, Matthew Ragsdale and wife, Laeryn, of Cherokee Village, Erik Ragsdale of Bentonville; brothers, Scott Ragsdale and Mark Ragsdale, both of Pryor, Okla.; and numerous nephews. His influence will ever live on in the lives of all his life touched. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 11, 2013, at Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday in the Chapel of Rollins Funeral Home, officiated by Dr. Doug Adkins. Burial will follow in Bentonville Cemetery. Memorials, in lieu of flowers, may be made to Circle of Life Hospice or the Bentonville Freewill Baptist Church. Arrangements are by Rollins Funeral Home of Rogers.
