Margaret Ann Swaim

Margaret Ann Swaim, age 83, of Greers Ferry died April 2, 2013, at White River Medical Center in Batesville. he was born in Weiner, Ark., on Oct. 1, 1929, to the late Charles and Bernice (Wallace) Fowler. She was an avid Bridge player, quilter, painter and enjoyed arts and crafts. Survivors include her children, Roger Swaim of Hot Springs, Tracy Swaim of Perryville, Lisa Reed of Rogers, Joe Swaim of Greers Ferry; a brother, Charles "Shaw" Fowler of Wiener; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren, with one on the way. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Terry John Swaim in 2004; and a son, John Swaim in 1998. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, April 5, 2013, at St. Vincent de Paul Cemetery. Memorials, in lieu of flowers, may be made to the donor's local humane society. Arrangements are by Callison-Lough Funeral Home of Rogers.
