Roberta Bennett, 78, died Sept. 25, 2012, at The Gardens at Osage Terrace in Bentonville. She was born in Mesa, Ariz., on Jan. 18, 1934, to the late Albert H. and Jennie (Murray) Baker. She loved to garden, cook and sew. She loved animals, was an avid reader and enjoyed going out to eat with family and friends. She is survived by her sons, Lee and wife, Virlene Bennett, of Lowell, Robert and wife, Lynnette Bennett, of Springdale; her daughters, Katrina Paine of Springdale, Connie and husband, Tim Moore, of Neosho, Mo., Teri and husband, Tim Bohannon, of Springdale; 12 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Louise Baker of Wellington, Kan. Roberta is preceded in death by her brother, Hoyle Baker; and her sister, Wanda Baker. A visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m., Thursday, Sept.27, 2012, at Callison-Lough Funeral Home in Rogers. Her memorial service, with the Rev. Bob Fant officiating, will be Friday, Sept. 28, at 1 p.m. with burial to follow at Ruddick Cemetery in Garfield.
