Clinton Lee Dearing

Clinton Lee Dearing, 72, of Farmington passed away Sunday, Sept. 23, 2012. He was born Jan. 9, 1940, in Fayetteville, the son of Robert and Mary Curtis Dearing. Clinton was of the Presbyterian faith and had worked in the Northwest Arkansas area for United Built Homes for 17 years. He also worked for the Elkins School System and served on the school board. Served in the United States Marine Corps from 1957-1962 and also the Naval Reserves. He is survived by his wife, Lou Dearing of the home, to whom he had been married for 50 years; one son, Clint Dearing and wife, Kimbra, of Rogers; one daughter, Kelly Lewis and husband, Joey, of Farmington; two brothers, Jimmy Dearing of Elkins and Joe Dearing of Fayetteville; one sister, Elizabeth Watson of Elkins; six grandchildren, Destin Lewis, Tyler Dearing, Lexie Lewis, Kalie Hollis, Todd Dearing and Riley Hollis. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 27, 2012, at Beard's Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in the Fayetteville National Cemetery.
