Gladys L. Elzie

Gladys L. Elzie, 91, of Farmington passed away, Friday, Sept. 21, 2012, in Fayetteville. She was born April 25, 1921, in Wilburton, Okla., the daughter of Barney and Rosie Hammontree. She retired after several years working for Campbell Soup. She was preceded in death by her parents and one daughter, Sue Lynch. Survivors include one daughter, Debra Newman of Van Buren; four sons, Keith Jones of Hindsville, Doyle Jones of Pine Bluff, Phillip Jones of Farmington and Ricky Jones of Lincoln; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren. Graveside Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2012, at Friendship Cemetery in Springdale with Rev. Bill Williams officiating. Online condolences: www.beardsfuneralchapel.com.
