Robert G. Rizza

Robert G. Rizza M.D., 81, formerly of Garfield, died Sept. 19, 2012. He was born Oct. 31, 1930. He served as a lieutenant commander in the U.S. Navy Medical Corps. He is survived by his wife, Kitty; sons, Steve, Andrew and Jeremy; daughter, Katy; brother, Frank; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild. Mass of Christian burial 11 a.m. Monday, Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Halstead. Memorials to Sacred Heart Catholic Church or Benedictine Military School, Savannah, Ga., in care of Kaufman Funeral Home, Halstead, Kan.
