James Floyd Kelley

James Floyd Kelley, 84, of Eureka Springs, Ark., died Sept. 19, 2012, at his home. He was born April 21, 1928, in Eureka Springs, Ark., the son of James Harrison and Lula Mae Johnson Kelley. He was farmer, a former employee of Tyson, a veteran of World War II, serving in United States Army and a Free Will Baptist. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Stephen Ray Kelley and Eugene Kelley; one daughter, Tonette Kelley Caler; two grandsons, Sterling Harp and Bryan Lee Harp; two granddaughters, Courtney Caler and Sarah Caler. He was the last of 11 siblings, 10 having preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Lee O'Connor Kelley of the home; two sons, Jerry Kelley and James Kelley Jr., both of Booneville, Ark.; three daughters and sons-in-law, Phyllis and Randy Harvey of Rogers, Ark., Lola and Darrell Bunch of Eureka Springs, Ark., and Donna and James Meyers of Huntsville, Ark.; two stepsons and one stepdaughter-in-law, David and Kaye Harp, and Dale Harp, all of Huntsville, Ark.; 25 grandchildren; and 33 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 22, in the chapel of Brashears Funeral Home with the Rev. Fred Hatcher officiating. Interment will be in the Union Chapel Cemetery near Garfield, Ark., under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home, www.brashearsfuneralhome.net, of Huntsville, Ark. Pallbearers will be Stephen Sulffridge, Dwayne Sulffridge, David Carter, Randall Harvey, Nicholas Harvey and Tyler Reddick. Honorary pallbearers will be Randy Harvey, Darrell Bunch, James Meyers, Bryan Reeser and Marvin Caler. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
