Heather Nicole Vest Coleman

Heather Nicole Vest Coleman, 29, Prairie Grove, passed away unexpectedly at home on Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2012. Heather was a graduate of Greenland High School. She received her bachelor's degree from the University of Arkansas and master's degree from John Brown University. Heather continued her education receiving multiple certifications in family and substance abuse counseling. She had recently taken a job as the clinical director for the Washington County Drug Court and before served in the psychiatric field at Youth Bridge and Decision Point. She is preceded in death by grandparents, Ruth Vest and Odean Wood. Survivors include her mother and stepfather, Melanie and Larry Wood; sister and brother, Caitlyn and Cole Wood; and stepsisters, Camille Milam, Casey Burgoon and Laurie Stocker. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 22, at the Baptist Ford Church in Greenland, Ark. A private burial will follow.
