Thelma B. Graddy, 100, of Fayetteville, Ark., passed away Sunday, Sept. 16, 2012, in Fayetteville. She was born March 30, 1912, in Corinth, Ark., the daughter of Thomas B. and Edna (Hunt) Graddy. She was an elementary school teacher, a business owner of a five-and-dime, and a member of the Central United Methodist Church of Fayetteville. She is survived by two children, Brenda (Graddy) Bailey of Fayetteville, Ark., John B. Graddy of Amelia Island, Fla.; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 21, 2012, in the convocation room at Butterfield Trail Village, with the Rev. Carl Palmer officiating. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012, at the Clinton Memorial Cemetery in Clinton, Ark. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Central United Methodist Church, 6 W. Dickson St., Fayetteville, AR 72701; or the American Cancer Society.
