Royce Farrell Jones

Farrell Jones, 63, of Elm Springs, Ark., died Sept. 18, 2012, at Circle of Life Hospice Home at Springdale, Ark. He was born March 31, 1949, in Berryville, Ark., the son of Harvey Lee and Mildred Todd Jones. He attended the Faith Assembly of God Church in Springdale and was a member of the Arkansas Cattlemen's Association and the American Quarter Horse Association. He was a retired cattle farmer and loved riding and raising horses. His greatest love was his family, especially his grandchildren. Survivors include his wife, Becky Lu Jones of the home, whom he married on June 4, 1986; five sons and four daughters-in-law, Kevin and Debbie Higgins of Lowell, Ark., Jeff and Jeannie Higgins of Bentonville, Ark., Donnie and Traci Helton of Springdale, Ark., Cricket and Jamie Helton of Harrison, Ark., and Stuart Helton of the home; one daughter and son-in-law, Julie and Clay Slaton of Westville, Okla.; one brother, Howard Jones of Springdale, Ark.; one sister, Carolyn Parsley of Springdale, Ark.; 12 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 21, at the Faith Assembly of God Church, with the Reverends Tim O'Brien and Billy Burks officiating. Interment will be in the Clifty Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home, www.brashearsfuneralhome.net, at Huntsville. Pallbearers will be Danny Parsley, Barry Parsley, Ronnie Hritz, Wayne McNeely, Tyler Harrell and Gene Hale. Honorary pallbearers will be Charles Rush, Charles Farmer, Robert Pianalto, Ben Shockey, Ron McCaskill and members of the Elm Springs Coffee Club.
