Fluradell Jones

Fluradell Jones was born July 5, 1925, in Greenville Tenn., to Morlie and Swannie "Cass" (Gaddis) Miller. She died Monday, Sept. 17, 2012, in Owasso, Okla., at the age of 87 years. Fluradell was married Nov. 28, 1948, in Rogers, Ark., to Willard Jones. She and her husband moved to Tulsa, Okla., in 1957. She spent most of her working life as a homemaker and caring for her family. Fluradell was a longtime faithful member of Dawson Free Will Baptist Church in Tulsa. She enjoyed a variety of pastimes, including playing board games, making crafts and watching her soap operas. Loving family members include son, Joe Jones of Owasso; two grandsons, Jeff Jones of Hectorville, Okla., Travis Jones of Tulsa; four sisters, Helen Horner and her husband, Jack, of Greenville, Tenn., Bonnie England and her husband, John, of Tulsa, Caroline Meade of Greenville, Tenn., Judy Hillberry and her husband, Dee, of Thermopolis, Wyo.; brother, Johnny Miller and his wife, Ruth, of Tulsa. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willard; son, Jimmy Jones; and three brothers, Joe Miller, Charles Miller and Roy Miller. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 20, 2012, at Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso. Funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 21, 2012, at the Dawson Free Will Baptist Church in Tulsa, with Pastor Max Campbell officiating. Serving as casket bearers will be Danny England, Andy England, Dan Sieler, John Sieler, Max Miller and Jason Miller. Graveside services will be held 3 p.m. that afternoon at the Twelve Corners Cemetery in Pea Ridge, Ark. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso, www.moweryfs.com.
