Lester L. McGregor

Lester L. McGregor of Rogers, Ark., passed away on Sept. 16, 2012, at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on Sept. 30, 1926, to the late George C. and Marie C. (Kinney) McGregor in Wichita, Kan. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Doris Spaht McGregor; daughters, Judy and Louis Ysusi of Independence, Kan., Jean Anne and Steve Gaddy of Overland Park, Kan., Debra and Raymond Griggs of Rogers, Ark., Donna and Jay Sanchez of Corpus Christi, Texas; sister, Caryl Spaht of Augusta, Kan.; and the joys of his life, nine grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, five step-grandchildren and 10 step-great-grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by his family and his "Beaver Lake Buddies" from Kansas City. He is preceded in death by his daughters, Janice Sue and Tonya Loree; grandson, James Todd Gaddy; and son-in-law, Stephen Thompson. A celebration of life, by the immediate family, will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the care of Callison-Lough Funeral Home in Rogers, Ark.
