Myrtle Wojciechowski of Rogers departed from this life on Sept. 9, 2012. She was born Myrtie Lee Argo on Feb. 7, 1921, in Royston, Ga. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jozef Wojciechowski; her father, Joseph Argo of Royston, Ga.; her mother, Lena Burch Trammell of Monroe, La.; two brothers, Eldridge Argo and Hoke Argo of Royston, Ga.; three sisters, Maggie Vandeford and Rose Parks of Royston, Ga., and Ophelia English of Atlanta, Ga. She is survived by one son, Frank Duffy of Rogers; two daughters, Valerie Brewer of Rogers and Carol Huffman of Seligman, Mo.; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Ed Argo of Canon, Ga., and Alton Argo of Lula, Ga. Myrtle was a homemaker and worked many years as a private duty nurse. She was a natural caregiver and loved all of the people she took care of throughout the years. She had a passion for politics and enjoyed nothing more than working on campaigns to help good people get elected to office. She was a real firecracker! Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. 4th St., Rogers. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2012, at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 2805 N. Dixieland, Rogers. Interment will follow in the Rogers Cemetery.
