Maude Louise Stanley, 91, of Rogers, Ark., passed away Sept. 9, 2012, at Mercy Hospital in Rogers. She was born Nov. 27, 1920, in Texas City, Texas. Louise dedicated her life to taking care of others. She was a devoted wife and mother who spent her life serving as a minister's wife. Her life occupation consisted of Meals on Wheels, teaching fourth-grade Bible class, visiting the sick and taking care of foster boys needing a warm loving home. She volunteered many years with the hospitals, giving of herself during others' times of need. Even though much of her work was conducted outside the home, she still was able to provide a wonderful family environment for her children. She was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, Floyd Irving Stanley; her parents, William Charles and Cora Ollie Cook; son-in-law, Leo Ryan; and grandchild, Tina Louise Ryan. Louise is survived by one son, Floyd Stanley Jr. and wife, Christa, of Midlothian, Texas; two daughters, Rita Ryan of Rogers, Elaine Davenport and husband, Michael, of Bertram, Texas; 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. A visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2012, at Southside Church of Christ in Rogers. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Sept. 12, 2012, at Southside Church of Christ in Rogers, with Floyd Stanley Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Benton County Memorial Park Cemetery.
