Madeline Wiggins

Madeline Wiggins, 83, of Elkins, Ark., passed onto a new life Sept. 3, 2012, at home surrounded by her daughter and longtime caregiver, Kathy McCoy; daughter-in-law, Barbara Wiggins; grandson, Kevin Green; granddaughter, Kym Dimmitt; great-granddaughter, Madison Green; special family friend, Heather Lawson, and most of all her beloved and faithful dog, "Missetu." She was born in Haverhill, Mass., on Nov. 14, 1928. She spent the majority of her life in Derry, N.H. In the 1990s moved to Grand Lake in Grove, Okla., later on to Mountain Home, Ark., and as her health failed, her final move to Elkins, Ark. She was preceded in death by her husband, Guy Wiggins Jr., in 1969; her longtime partner, Arthur Powers in 2006; son-in-law, Cecil McCoy; and granddaughter Kathy Moore. She is survived by two children, Robert Wiggins and Kathy McCoy; sister-in-law, Bertha Holm; grandchildren, Robert Lancaster, Kym Dimmitt, Jeff Wiggins, Kelly Cantwell, Adam Wiggins and Kevin Green; several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations maybe made to your local humane society as she was an avid animal lover.
