Barbara Jean Harmon

Barbara Jean Blancho Harmon, 82, of Rogers, Ark., died peacefully Sept. 1, 2012, with her family by her side at Northwest Medical Center, Bentonville. She was born March 18, 1930, to Gus and Josie Blancho of Pittsburg, Kan. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Eldon; and daughter, Deborah Lynn. She is survived by her brother, Robert, wife Pauline and family, of Pittsburg, Kan.; son, Steven Kent, wife Betty and granddaughters Katherine and Rebecca of New Bern, N.C.; daughter, Cynthia Ann of Kingsport, Tenn.; and son, Michael John, wife Hope, granddaughters Brooke and Michele and great-granddaughters, Jasmine and Aniston of Rockwall, Texas. A private ceremony with friends and family will be held at the family farm. She loved her neighbors, her farm and she made her children extremely proud with her generosity, her spirit and her love.
