Martin J. Andreasen

Martin J. Andreasen of Cocoa Beach, Fla., 66, died Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2012, at Cape Canaveral Hospital-Cocoa Beach, Fla., of cancer. Martin J. Andreasen was born in Palo Alto, Calif. He is predeceased by his parents, George and Valerie Andreasen. Martin J. Andreasen owned and operated Horseshoe Bend Marina, Rogers, Ark., from 1970 to 1996. He married Colette Andreasen on July 31, 1999, in Orange Beach, Ala. They moved to Perdido Key, Fla., in 2001, which time he owned the business selling utility trailers and boat storage. In 2007, they moved to Cocoa Beach, Fla., where he managed a condo complex. Survivors include his wife, Colette Andreasen, Cocoa Beach, Fla.; sons, David Andreasen, Indianapolis, Ind., Shane and Beth Andreasen, Fayetteville, Ark., and Ryan and Megan Gutierrez, Atlanta, Ga.; and daughter, Courtney Gutierrez, Titusville, Fla. He has five great-grandchildren. Brothers are Dr. Raymond Andreasen, Vacaville, Ark.,Dr. Russell Andreasen, Texas; and in-laws are Dr. L Chapman and Corinne Bean, Cocoa Beach, Fla., Renee and Patrick Buckingham, Ft. Dodge, Iowa, Mike and Rozane Maxey, Gulf Port, Miss. and Rodney and Stephanie Ryan, Anchorage, Alaska; mother-in-law Carole Ryan, Titusville, Fla.; uncle and aunt include Andy and Kathy Andreasen, Lowell, Ark., and children. Sept. 1: Beckman-Williamson Funeral Home in Cocoa Beach at 1 p.m. Celebration of Life Buffet at 3 p.m. at Radisson Inn, Cocoa Beach, Fla., provided by Dr. L Chapman and Corinne Bean.
