Marjorie Mae Carlson

Marjorie Mae Carlson, 88, of Avoca, passed away Oct. 19, 2012 at home. She was born May 18, 1924, in Goodland, Minn., the daughter of Alph and Nellie Brackin Peck. Marjorie was a homemaker. She is preceded in death by her husband, Arvid C. Carlson and one daughter, Kristine Carlson; one sister, Barbara Volker and three brothers, Jack, Sidney and Alph Peck, Jr. She is survived three daughters, Wendy Carlson of Rogers, Julianne Candler of Gravette, Lori Rogers and husband Robert (Bogie) Rogers of Rogers and one son, Arthur Carlson wife Lisa of Avoca; 11 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Wednesday, 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 24, 2012. Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 25, 2012, at Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. 4th St., Rogers with Minister Jack Galbraith officiating. Private interment in the Tuck's Chapel Cemetery. A gathering of family and friends will follow the service at 2711 Garrett Road, Rogers.
