Doris Lorraine Parker, 89, of Little Rock, a very sweet, gracious lady, passed away October 2, 2012. She was born in Appleton, Minnesota. She met her husband, Leger D. Parker at Cadillac Motor Car Division in Detroit, and became the matriarch of Parker Automotive Group. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She was best described as kind, loving, thoughtful, dedicated, caring, and gave unconditional love to her family as well as others. She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Leger D. Parker, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Mach, and sister, Francis Jennens and her husband, Ted Jennens. She is survived by her sons, Richard D. Parker and his wife, Nancy, and David L. Parker and his wife, Holly. Richard and Nancy's children are: Rob and his wife Tammy Parker, Brad and his wife Sejal Parker. David and Holly's children are: Jessica and her husband Blake Casey, Rachel and her husband Buddy Harding, IV and son, David D. Parker. Her four great-grandchildren are: Robbie Parker, Matthew Parker, Ava Parker and Aiden Parker. Her son Dave said, "We all have a sense that this life is not all there is and there's not a question in our minds where people like our mother go, when they are as kind and good as she was. We are at peace knowing that." Doris was loyal to her church family at Grace Lutheran Church. She traveled extensively with her husband on Cadillac business and leaves many friends. She will be terribly missed and forever live in the hearts and minds of all those who knew her. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Friday, October 5, 2012, at Grace Lutheran Church, 5124 Hillcrest, Little Rock, Arkansas, with Pastor James Walters officiating. Entombment will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park, 7401 Hwy. 5 North, Alexander, Arkansas. Arrangements are with Roller-Chenal Funeral Home, (501) 224-8300. A gathering of friends will be from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m., Thursday, October 4, 2012, at the family home on Fairway Drive.
