Robert S. "Bob" Myers, age 90, of Tulsa, Okla., died Friday, Nov. 23, 2012, in Tulsa. He was born May 23, 1922, in Rochester, Pa., the son of Walter Heston and Lillian G. Brennen Myers. He was a retired consulting engineer and a U.S. Air Force veteran of World War II. Bob was a navigator and flew 32 missions over Germany in a six-week time frame. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Tulsa where he also served as deacon. He is survived by his wife, Bethel Ward Myers; a son, Ed Myers and his wife, Debbie, of Claremore, Okla.; a daughter, Theta McGoffin and her husband, Greg, of Jenks, Okla.; five grandchildren, Shannon Dulin, Tim McGoffin, Kendal, Mark and Scott Myers; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 27, at Moore's Chapel, Fayetteville, Ark. Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Moore's Chapel, with burial at Walnut Grove Cemetery at Crosses, Ark. Memorials may be made to Clarehouse, 7617 S. Mingo Road, Tulsa, OK 74133.
