Lucille E. Harris, age 89, of Fayetteville died Saturday, Nov. 17, 2012, in Fayetteville. She was born Oct. 25, 1923, in Elkins, Ark., the daughter of Harry and Eva Moore Whitehouse. She was of the Baptist faith, and was a farmer. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Wanda Laverne Harris, and a brother, Richard Whitehouse. She is survived by two sons, Vernon "Bub" Harris Jr. of Elkins and Ronnie Harris of Colcord, Okla., a daughter, Linda Hardin of Goshen; one brother, Bill Whitehouse of Russiaville, Ind., and a sister, Lorene Salsbury of Kokomo, Ind. She had five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m., Monday, Nov. 19, 2012, at Moore's Chapel. Funeral Service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Moore's Chapel with burial at Mount Salem Cemetery in Elkins, under the direction of Moore's Chapel. Pallbearers will be Vernon "Bub" Harris Jr., Rowdy Harris, Cody Harris, Colton Harris, Calder Harris, and Kevin Mort.
