Joe Collins, age 70, of Rogers, died Thursday, Nov. 15, 2012, in Fayetteville. He was born April 23, 1942, in Zanesville, Ohio, the son of Ted and Juanita Davisson Collins. He was preceded in death by his son, Steven Collins and a grandson, Joshua Wilbur. He was a retired from the United States Air Force, joining at age 17 and was a retired history teacher, having taught at Oakdale Junior High School in Rogers for 23 years. He was a member of Calvary Chapel of the Ozarks in Rogers. He is survived by his wife, Mary Collins; a stepdaughter, Jennifer Wawro and her husband David of Auburn, N.Y.; two stepsons, Butch Wilbur and his wife Misty of Bentonville, Ark., and Nicholas Musteen and his wife Angela of Little Elm, Texas; a daughter, Melissa Rush and her husband Ken of Bowling Green, Ky., and nine grandchildren, Savannah, Olivia, Morgan, Lexie, Matthew, Evan, Kyndal, Elizabeth and Owen. Visitation will be held 6 p.m.–8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 19 at Moore's Chapel. Graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Fayetteville National Cemetery, under the direction of Moore's Chapel.
