Ronald Leroy Weaver, 70, a resident of Hogeye, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Nov. 7, 2012, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville. He was born Feb. 17, 1942, in Algona, Iowa, the son of Donald F. and F. Jeannette Maasdam Weaver. He was a dedicated member of the New Sulphur Freewill Baptist Church for 37 years. Ronald enjoyed farming and milking around 100 dairy cows in Hogeye for over 60 years. He also drove a truck for 20 years. Survivors include his wife, Rita Weaver; three sons, Ronnie Weaver and wife, Georgia, of Iowa, Ritchie Weaver of Prairie Grove and Michael Weaver and wife, Brandie, of Hogeye; one daughter, Michelle Brogan of Texas; one brother, Brian Weaver of Farmington; and five grandchildren, Heather Weaver, Ashely Weaver, Julie Brogan, Bailey Brogan and Levi Weaver. The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 7-8 p.m. at Luginbuel Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012, at the New Sulphur Freewill Baptist Church near Prairie Grove. Burial will be in the Howell Cemetery in Hogeye, near his childhood home and family farm. There will be no graveside services held at the cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Carlis Bartholomew, Bill Tyree, Keith Baer, Allen Moore, David Bradley, Jared Robinson, Jake Willis and Scott Davis. Honorary pallbearers will be: Levi Weaver, Robert Brockman, Roger Larson, Ricky Bulger, Tommy Cunningham, Johnny Risley, Earl Farrell, Gary Bramall and special honorary pallbearer and special friend, the late Kettron Faddis.
