John Riley Cooper, age 87, left this earth on Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2012, at 7:19 a.m. He was preceded in death by his parents, Austin B. Cooper and Allie Cullins Cooper Bane; his stepfather, George Bane; one brother, Duane Bane; one daughter, Janet Lee; and one grandson, James Stubbs. He is survived by his children, Twila Cooper Smith and husband, Leroy, of Rogers, Ark., Debbie Cooper Grubber and husband, Larry, of Phoenix, Ariz., John R. Cooper of Wichita, Kan., Julie R. Cooper Anderson of McKinney, Texas, and Todd Cooper and wife, Cheryl, of Wichita, Kan. He was the proud grandfather of 18 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. He had a vast love of fishing with his best friend, Jim Million of New Mexico. He loved to travel and see things, so his passing this day will allow him to take the best trip of his entire life and he will see wonders of Heaven that we can only imagine. The memorial service will be held Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012, at 1 p.m. at the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, officiated by pastor Steve Jordan. Burial will be at the Little Flock Cemetery in Little Flock, Ark. There will be no visitation prior to the funeral. Military Honors: Rogers VFW Post 3031. A special thank you to Concordia Health and Rehab in Bella Vista, Ark., and Circle of Life Hospice for the outstanding and faithful care they provided to him and to John R.
