Earl Logue, 85, of Springdale died Monday, Nov. 5, 2012, at Willard Walker Hospice Home. He was born Feb. 26, 1927, in Elkins to Herbert Edward and Rachel Ann Peters Logue. Earl was a supervisor at Kearney Electric for 37 years before retiring. He served in the United States Navy during World War II and the Korean conflict. He played basketball for Elkins High School. He loved gardening and his family. He was an avid Razorback fan and a member of Cross Church Springdale. Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Kathryn L. (Kathy) Logue of the home; one son, Jeffrey Alan Logue and wife, Priscilla, of Springdale; two daughters, Lynda Susan Starr of Springdale, and Lea Ann Rosamond and husband, Steve, of Springdale; two brothers, Clarence Logue and Paul Logue, both of Fayetteville; three sisters, Ann Thorp of Renton, Wash., Bonnie Black of Rogers and Ruby Sullivan of West Fork; three grandchildren, Kristen Nichole Bodenstein, Todd Andrew Rosamond and Shayue Kathryn-Rose Starr; and one great-grandchild, Jacob Marcus Bodenstein. Funeral services will be Friday, Nov. 9, 2012, at 1 p.m. at Cross Church Chapel in Springdale, with the Rev. Charlie Foster officiating. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery.
