Donald R. Nibert, age 59, of Fayetteville passed away suddenly May 7, 2012. Don was born Aug. 5, 1952, in Rockford, Ill., to Bobby and Martha (Ward) Nibert of Pocohontas, Ark. Don was a member of The Mudlarks for 30 years and a Master Potter nationally recognized for his unique work in Raku pottery. Don is survived by one daughter, Maja Aurora of Tempe, Ariz.; his parents, Bobby and Martha of Florissant, Mo.; one sister and brother-in-law, Suzanne and Bob Dees, also of Florissant, Mo.; niece, Kathryn VanderPloeg, husband Joel, and children Hannah, Jackson, Thomas and Benjamin who loved their great uncle very much; nephew, Jonathan of Denver, Colo.; the love of his life, JoAnn Lacey of Cassville, Mo; and a multitude of close friends. He was a good man, loved by many. He was a wonderful son, grandson, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. on Saturday, May 12, at Moore's Chapel in Fayetteville.
