Tom Chick

Tom Chick, 55, of Bethel Heights, died Sunday, March 4, 2012, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville. He was born Nov. 18, 1956, in Pomona, Calif., to Larry Dean and Denni Woods Chick. Tom enjoyed time with his family, boating on the lake, and had a great sense of humor. He worked in poultry research for the University of Arkansas. He is survived by his wife, Laura (Hendricks) Chick of the home, whom he married Feb. 23, 1987, in Fayetteville; three children, Jessica Payne and husband, Eric, of Clarksville, Thomas Chick of Bethel Heights, Allison Lewis and husband, Landon, of Fayetteville; his father, Larry Chick of Lowell; a brother, Alan Chick of Lowell; a sister, Ellen Boswell of Springfield, Mo.; and two grandchildren, Teddy Payne and Elaina Lewis. A memorial service will be 4 p.m. Wednesday, March 7, at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Mike Payne officiating. Online condolences may be sent to heritageofnwa.com.
