Hestle Ruby Wray

Hestle Ruby Wray, 92, of Joplin, Mo., died Wednesday, May 30, 2012, at Freeman Hospital in Joplin. He was born on Aug. 6, 1919, in Middleton, Tenn., to Luther M. Wray and Bessy Rodgers Wray. He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Sammie A. Wray; son, Sammy Wray; brother, Lester Wray; and grandson, Chris Byrd. He is survived by his wife, Helen B. Wray of Joplin, Mo.; son, James R. Wray (Doris) of Linwood, Calif.; one daughter, Ruby L. Wray of Sun City, Calif.; stepdaughter, Lorie Rasmussen of Joplin, Mo.; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be at 10 a.m. until service time at 11 on Friday, June 1, 2012, at the Bella Vista Funeral Home Chapel, 2258 Forest Hills Blvd., Bella Vista, Ark., with Chaplain Al Brintnall officiating.
