Helen Virginia Ellis

Helen Virginia Ellis, 87, of Springdale, died July 30, 2012, in Springdale. She was born June 3, 1925, to Grover C. and Nettie Pearl Harmon Burnett. Virginia was one of the founding members of Wesley United Methodist Church in Springdale. She worked for the Springdale Public Schools and was a line supervisor for Baldwin Piano. The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Anna and her staff, Dr. Amari and his nurse, Michelle, her special neighbors, JoAnn Legg and Bill and Janet Tressler, as well as the Circle of Life Hospice staff. She was preceded in death by her husbands, James Dees and Kenneth Ellis; and sister, Cleo Bright. Virginia is survived by one son, Larry Grove Ellis of Dallas, Texas; and one daughter, Judy Patricia Graham and husband, Gail, of Springdale; three grandchildren, Cindy McFarland and husband, Brian, and Angela McCuistian and husband, Dell, all of Lowell, and Cheyenne Virginia Ellis of Copenhagen, Denmark; two great-grandchildren, Kaylee McCuistian and Dylan McCuistian of Lowell. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 2, 2012, at the First United Methodist Church in Springdale with the Rev. Kenny Lee officiating. Burial will follow at Bluff Cemetery.
