Matthew Chance Tallant, 25, of Lowell died Wednesday, July 25, 2012, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville. He was born June 22, 1987, in Dumas, Texas. Matthew enjoyed wake boarding and being around small children. He graduated from Rogers High School in 2006 and had a wicked sense of humor. He collected John Deere tractors and memorabilia. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Elmer L. Solko; and special aunt, K'Alice Breinig. He is survived by his parents, Alicia and Kelly Russell of Lowell; two sisters, Kylie Russell, and Jessica Scoggin and husband, Steven, all of Great Falls, Mont.; grandmother, Barbara Solko of Springdale; and several aunts and uncles, including Elmer R. Solko of Fayetteville, Barry and Dawn Solko of Springfield, Mo., and Judy Bacon of Fayetteville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 1, at St. Raphael Catholic Church in Springdale, with Father John Connell officiating. Interment will be at Goad Springs Cemetery in Lowell. Visitation will be from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Heritage Funeral Home in Springdale; online guest book at www.heritageofnwa.com.
