Bobby Ray Easterling

Bobby Ray Easterling, 73, of Huntsville, Ark., died July 26, 2012, at his home. He was born Nov. 30, 1938, in Aurora, Ark., the son of O'Donnell and Irene Parson Easterling. He was a graduate of the University of Arkansas and had retired from the Huntsvillle Public Schools after teaching 34 years. He was a deacon of the Huntsville Church of Christ and a member of the Madison County Retired Teachers Association. He was preceded in death by one brother, Charles Easterling. Survivors include his wife, Frances Harris Easterling of the home; one daughter and son-in-law, Jill and Lance Vanlandingham of Huntsville, Ark.; one grandson, Cole Vanlandingham of Huntsville, Ark.; one granddaughter, Kari Vanlandingham of Huntsville, Ark.; and one niece, Mardi Grigg of Kingston, Ark. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 28, in the chapel of Brashears Funeral Home with Larry Combs, minister, officiating. Interment will be in the Aurora Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home, www.brashearsfuneralhome.net, of Huntsville, Ark. Pallbearers will be Craig McCartney, Randy Bohannan, Tim Bachmann, Glenn Thomas, Lyndell Thomas and Jerry Clark. Honorary pallbearers will be Troy Dennis, Wayne Young, Elton "Red" Eledge and Presley Thomas.
