Jim Tillery

Jim Tillery, 89, of Rogers, Ark., passed away on Thursday, July 26, 2012, at a nursing home in Rogers, Ark. He was a retired construction worker, an Army veteran of WWII. He is preceded in death by his wife, Ella Tillery; and his parents, Jessie L. and Jeskie Walker Tillery. Survivors include five daughters, Pauline Hollingsworth of Springdale, Ark., Maxine Reynolds of Shawnee, Kan., Louise Calvert of Kansas City, Mo., Reba Hampton of Winslow, Ark., Robbi Goff of Paola, Kan.; four sons, Jimmy and Bruce Tillery, both of Fayetteville, Ark., Michael Tillery of Pea Ridge, Ark., and Kenneth Tillery of Springdale, Ark.; three brothers, Carl and Clarence Tillery, both of Ozark, Ark., and J.D. Tillery of Bashoy, Kan.; 15 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Jethro Community Church, with burial at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Jethro Community. Arrangements under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma, 917 Hwy. 64 East, Alma, Ark. Pallbearers will be Scott Tillery, Ryan Reynolds, Will Calvert, Gabriel and Douglas Goff, Joel and Trent Hampton, and Race Tillery.
