Charles David Morrison Jr.

Charles David Morrison Jr., age 79, of Rogers, passed away on July 19, 2012, in Bentonville. He was born Dec. 1, 1932, in Cleveland, Okla., to the late Charles David and Mayme Payne Morrison Sr. He was a technician for the telephone company prior to retirement and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was a member of Southside Church of Christ and also a member of the Tin Can Soldiers. Survivors include one son, Myron D. Morrison of Rogers, Ark.; three daughters, Donna R. O'Neal and her husband, Ray, of Millington, Tenn., Debra J. Spann of Bentonville, Ark., Sandy Baxley of Rogers, Ark.; one sister, Zelma Gates of Las Vegas, Nev.; and two grandchildren, Erika O'Neal of Millington, Tenn., and Brandon Baxley of Rogers, Ark. A visitation will be held on Monday, July 23, from 6 until 8 p.m. at Rollins Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 24, at 10 a.m. at Rollins Funeral Chapel. Jackie Chesnutt will officiate the service. Interment will be in the Rogers City Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of Rollins Funeral Home of Rogers.
