Muriel Christine Qualls

Muriel Christine Qualls, 94, of Springdale, died July 14, 2012, at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale. She was born March 11, 1918, in Douthat, Okla., to Will and Janey Stanley Karnes. She was retired from Tyson Foods and was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dyer Qualls; and grandson, Larry Watkins. She is survived by her daughters, Jane Watkins and husband, Don, and Maxine Kissinger and husband, Don, both of Tontitown, Barbara Cripps and husband, Charles, of Perryville, Ark., Jeanie Immel and husband, Charles, of Springdale, Marilyn Shackelford and Bobby Campbell of Farmington, and June Phipps and husband, Wayne, of Fayetteville; 17 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, July 19, 2012, at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale with the Rev. Billy Burks and the Rev. Tim O'Brian officiating. Burial will follow at Zion Cemetery.
