Muriel Jean Kincaid

Muriel "Micki" Jean Kincaid, 73, of Rogers, passed away peacefully and unexpectedly on July 5, 2012. Micki was born in Sturgis, S.D., on March 27, 1939, and attended Sturgis High School. She fulfilled many roles as a young woman and mother of five, including many years of service in the retail industry. In addition, she dedicated her time as a Cub Scout den mother, taught preschool and was the passionate owner and operator, Micki's Clip Joint (a pet grooming business), in Alta Loma, Calif. She was also an active member of the Rogers, Ark., Salvation Army Corps. She enjoyed clogging and listening to country music and spending time with her friends and family. She was a devoted lover of animals, particularly concerned over the welfare of dogs and cats, and donated to the ASPCA. She will be remembered for her kind and giving nature, her bright smile, and her contagious laugh. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Elizabeth Bartlett. She is survived by her children, Susan (Felipe) Nogales, Craig (Susanne) Hoisington, Scott Lindgren and Laura (David) Estudiante; 15 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many friends. A memorial service will be held Thursday, July 19, at The Salvation Army, 504 N. Dixieland Road, Rogers, AR 72756 at 6 p.m. All donations can be made to the Rogers Animal Shelter or The Salvation Army of Rogers, Ark. Arrangements are under the care of Rollins Funeral Home of Rogers.
