Herman A. Henderson

Herman A. Henderson, 88, of Springdale, died July 12, 2012, at Circle of Life Hospice. He was born May 13, 1924, in Augusta, Ark., to John Michael and Mary Francis Ragland Henderson. He has been a resident of Springdale since 1974. He was a World War II Army veteran. He was a licensed pilot and an avid fisherman. He was employed by General Motors Acceptance Corp for 35 years, serving in the Little Rock, Fort Smith and Fayetteville offices before retiring. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby to whom he was married for 62 years; his parents; and seven brothers and sisters. He is survived by a son, Rick and wife, Ann; and daughter, Beverly Russell; grandsons, Jason and Josh; granddaughters, Kristi and Kelly; and six great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday July 14, 2012, at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale with the Rev. Clark Snow officiating. Burial will follow at Bluff Cemetery.
