Bennie M. Blair

Bennie M. Blair, 94, of Prairie Grove, passed away Tuesday, July 10, 2012, at Washington Regional Medical Center. He was born Nov. 9, 1917, in Prairie Grove, Ark., to Fred and Lydia Blair. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Edna Blair; two brothers, Homer Blair and Alvis Blair; and sister, Stella McCauley. Survivors include his two sons, Bill Blair and wife, Lois, and Darrell Blair, both of Prairie Grove; daughter, Venita Baker of St. Paul; 11 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held Saturday, July 14, 2012, at 2 p.m. with Pastor Don Nichols officiating. Burial will be at Baptist Ford Cemetery under the direction of Beard's Funeral Chapel.
