Robert Leroy "Bob" Culpepper

No services are planned for Robert Leroy "Bob" Culpepper, age 63, of Springdale died June 29, 2012, at The Maples at Har-Ber Meadows Nursing Home in Springdale. He was born Nov. 24, 1948, in Pine Bluff to William Carr and Marguerite Locke Culpepper. Mr. Culpepper was a member of Good Faith Carr (formerly Good Faith) United Methodist Church in Pine Bluff. Bob moved to Springdale and lived at the Richardson Center and worked in their Sheltered Workshop. Illness required nursing home care and he moved to The Maples on Lynch's Prairie Cove in Springdale. He loved his nurses and the care they gave him. In his later days, nurses from Circle of Life Hospice joined in his care. Bob had a lifelong interest in science fiction, rocks and crystals and flea markets. He was a living encyclopedia of music and groups of the late '50s and the '60s and science fiction movies. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Bill Culpepper. Survivors include three sisters, Hattie Culpepper Simpson and husband Sid of Springdale, Maggi Culpepper Wadsworth and Sue Culpepper Trucks, both of Pine Bluff; and a number of nieces and nephews.
