Bobby Wayne Watson

Bobby Wayne Watson, 81, of Fayetteville passed away, June 29, 2012, in Fayetteville. He was born June 9, 1931 in Pettigrew, Ark., the son of Simon and Clara Cook Watson. He served in the United States Army and worked as a carpenter; member of Saint Paul Bible Church and attended First Assembly of God in Fayetteville. Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Wilma Johnson Watson of the home; two children, Wayne Watson and wife, Diane of Prairie Grove and Andy Watson and wife, Kim of Marble; two sisters, Jean Gray of Pettigrew and Mary Lee Johnson of Bentonville; five grandchildren, Shelly Thomas, Skip Watson, Jessi Bolinger, Emerald Watson and Baylea Watson; and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at 1 p.m. at Beard's Funeral Chapel with Pastor Tim Smith officiating. Burial with Military Honors will be at the Fayetteville National Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, July 2, 2012, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
