Patty Herz, 73, of Rogers, Ark., died Thursday, June 28, 2012, at her residence in Rogers. She was born July 21, 1938, in Garfield, Ark., to Herbert H. Poe and Iola Cooper Poe.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Herz, and one sister, Sharon Poe.

Patty is survived by two sons, Michael David Eldridge, and wife, Laura, of Tulsa, Okla., Gregory Steven Eldridge, and wife, Melissa, of Oklahoma City, Okla.; one daughter, Robin Ann Bell, and husband, Robert, of Plano, Texas; and seven grandchildren.

Patty was a wonderful, loving, and supportive wife, mother, and grandmother whose memory will be cherished by her children and grandchildren. She also was an independent businesswoman who owned and operated PHI Designs, and was responsible for many beautiful designs and renovations of homes, hotels, and businesses.

Patty wished to especially thank Ann Autrey and Sue Eldridge for their care and concern during her illness. Patty also had a large circle of friends too numerous to mention who supported and strengthened her during her final days in Rogers. She was a devout Christian, and enjoyed church and Wednesday night bible study gatherings in her home, and she was responsible for bringing many people the message of hope that Christ embodies. She was steadfast in her faith, and never wavered in her beliefs, and this comforted her in her last moments here on earth.

The family also wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to her many friends and relatives who provided support and care. She knew she was loved, and she will be missed by all who knew her.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, July 2, 2012, at Stockdale-Moody Funeral Services in Rogers.

A celebration of Patty's life will be at 10 a.m., Tuesday, July 3, 2012, at Rogers Christian Church with the Revered Jake Galbraith officiating. Burial will be at Pea Ridge Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Rogers Christian Church, 2501 West Oak St., Rogers, AR 72758.
