Peggy Evelyn Flaniken Davis, 80 year-old resident of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, died January 7, 2012 at Siloam Springs Nursing and Rehab. Born January 22, 1931 in Memphis, Tennessee, she was the daughter of Ernest Murrell Flaniken and Lethe Evelyn Wade Flaniken. Peggy married Rev. Milton Bludworth Davis on July 19, 1953 in Memphis, Tennessee. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Siloam Springs, Arkansas. Survivors include her husband, Rev. Milton Bludworth Davis; three sons, Rev. Milton Scott Davis and wife Sue Anne of Fairhope, Alabama, Peter Murrell Davis and wife Grace of Siloam Springs, Richard Daniel Davis and wife Angie of Siloam Springs; two daughters, Janet Lee Davis Pierce and husband Rev. Scott Pierce of Jasper, Alabama, Nanette Wade Davis Wilson and husband Dr. Rob Wilson of Heber Springs, Arkansas; seventeen grandchildren; and three brothers, Rev. Ernest Flaniken of Coco Beach, Florida, Forrest Flaniken of Louisville, Kentucky, and Richard Flaniken of Somerville, Tennessee. Memorial services will be 11 a.m., Thursday, January 12, 2012 at First Presbyterian Church, Siloam Springs, Arkansas with Rev. Breck Castleman officiating.
