Lois Evelyn Goss

Lois Evelyn Goss, 87, of Hindsville, Ark., died Feb. 24, 2012, at her home. She was born in Artesia, N.M., a daughter of Frank and Gladys James. She was proceeded in death by her parents; her husband, John Lee Goss; two sons, Gary Lee Goss and Kenneth Ray Goss; two brothers; and one sister. She was a dedicated member of Sonora Baptist Church for many years. She enjoyed working with church activities, bird watching, quilting and will be missed very much. Lois is survived by one sister, Betty Jean Ebling of Tulsa, Okla.; two grandsons, John Lee Goss of the home and Steven James Goss and his wife Terra of Springdale, Ark.; two great-granddaughters; and host of family and friends. Visitation will be held 4-6 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 26, 2012, at Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home in Springdale, Ark. Graveside service will be 2 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 27, 2012, at Burkshed Cemetery with Pastor Danny Williams officiating the service.
