Caris "Pat" Edward Patrick, age 74, of Fayetteville died Saturday Dec. 29, 2012, in Fayetteville. He was born April 14, 1938, in Patrick, Ark., to Richard and Muriel Curry Patrick. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and loved to roller skate. He worked as a set-up man for Shakespeare of Arkansas for 18 years and also worked at Marshalltown Tool Company for 18 years as a set-up man. He dearly loved trotline fishing and brought home fish to prove it. He also liked working in his woodshop making his whirligigs and nice pieces of furniture for his kids. He also was an avid Razorback fan. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Bobby January. He is survived by the love of his life, Sherry Reynolds Patrick; two daughters, Betty Rose Foshe and her husband, Robert, and Shawna Walden and her husband, Ricky; two sons, Gilbert Patrick and his wife, Tammie, and Rick Patrick and his wife, Sherry; 14 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 5 p.m. - 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013, at Moore's Chapel. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Moore's Chapel with burial to follow at Patrick Cemetery.
