Donna Rae Ahrens-Latimer

Donna Rae Ahrens-Latimer, 77, of Bentonville, Ark., lost her on-going battle with ovarian cancer at home Monday, Dec. 24, 2012. She was born May 11, 1935, in Pasadena, Calif., the daughter of Lois and Ray Broadstone. She was a certified Yoga instructor for many years and a health enthusiast. She was raised in Southern California and graduated from Rosemead High School and participated in many school functions. She relocated to Arvada, Colo., and renewed a 58-year-old relationship with Al Latimer. She is survived by her husband, Albert Latimer of the home, whom she married Nov. 24, 2012; one son, Paul Licari of Arvada, Colo.; two daughters, Deborah Licari of Vista, Calif., Lana Hill and her husband, Thomas, of Arvada, Colo.; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Donna had a quick, beautiful and genuine smile, a great sense of humor and a beautiful soul. Her daughters would like to encourage all women to ask their doctors for an inexpensive screening test for ovarian cancer as the CA-125. Early detection is your best defense. Arrangements by Epting Funeral Home of Bentonville. Condolences: www.eptingfuneralhome.webs.com.
