Samuel L. Ogle

Samuel L. Ogle, 73, died Dec. 22, 2012, in Rogers. He was born on May 23, 1939, to the late James William and Bessie Pearl (Jones) Ogle in Arkadelphia. Sam enjoyed hunting, coached Little League baseball, taught Sunday school and was a deacon at Immanuel Baptist Church. He also served as a volunteer at Mercy Medical Center. He is survived by his sons, Lance and wife, Tamra Ogle, of Rogers, Trent Ogle of Little Rock; daughter Tracye Ogle of Indiana; sister, Faye McEachern of McNeil, Ark.; grandchildren, Seth, Ashlyne, and Luke Ogle, Lacye and Ryan May. He was preceded in death by his wife, Daisy; brothers, Billy N. Ogle and Charles E. Ogle. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2012, in Rollins Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 27, 2012, at Cross Church in Rogers. Donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
