Ralph Jackson 'R.J.' Davis

Ralph Jackson "R.J." Davis, 81, Neosho, died Dec. 10, 2012, following a short illness. R.J. worked as an independent agent for Banker's Life and Casualty. He is survived by his longtime companion, Betty Lammey, Carthage; three children, Jack Davis Jr., Stella, Mo., Jim Davis and Sherry Ramsay, Goodman, Mo., and Diana Davis, Springfield, Va.; one grandson; two great-grandchildren; and one sister. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Edith Davis; two brothers, Warren "Pete" Davis and Jim Davis, former residents of Springdale, Ark., and five other siblings. The body has been taken for cremation and memorial services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012, at the Clark Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, Neosho, Mo. The family request no flowers, however, contributions in memory of R.J. may be made to the Neosho Newton County Library, c/o Clark Funeral Home, PO Box 66, Neosho, MO 64850.
