Dorothy Mae Foraker

Dorothy Mae Foraker, 84, of Springdale, died Dec. 10, 2012, at The Maples in Springdale, Ark. She was born Jan. 23, 1928, at Sarcoxie, Mo., to Cleo and Myrtle Mae Morris Ward. She was a member of the Rebecca Lodge in Miami, Okla., and the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Marion Foraker; six brothers; and two sisters. She is survived by son, James Marion Foraker and wife, Trish of Houston, Texas; two daughters, Kathy Ivey and husband, Alan of Springdale and Iva Mae Foraker of Wichita, Kans.; sister, Loretta McBride of Carthage, Mo.; seven grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012, at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale with Brother Barry Smith officiating.
